Dr. DiGiorgio has years of experience with many approaches to treatment. With her years of expertise, she can seamlessly combine filler, and other treatments (such as wrinkle smoothers, lasers, chemical peels, and facials) to achieve the best results on the same day.
Dr. DiGiorgio offers several types of Hyaluronic Acid fillers, as well as Biostimulatory fillers such as Sculptra, & Radiesse. During your consultation, she will select the most appropriate dermal filler to best achieve your aesthetic goals. Dr. DiGiorgio has the experience and training necessary to ensure you achieve the best results.
What to Expect
On the day of your treatment, Dr. DiGiorgio will either use a cannula or a needle to strategically place the product in the area of desired augmentation. The injection itself causes minor temporary discomfort and the treatment is well-tolerated by most patients. The treatment takes about 20-30 minutes. Immediately after the treatment, there may be mild to moderate swelling which resolves in a few days. Bruising may occur and is more common in certain areas of treatment. Dr. DiGiorgio will discuss these risks with you during your consultation. You will be provided with aftercare instructions. You can usually resume all normal activities within 24 hours. You will be instructed to avoid any intense exercising for at least 24 hours. The products begin to integrate into the tissues over the course of 1-2 weeks after the treatment. Final results are visualized in 2 weeks.
After the treatment, you will still look like yourself with softening and smoothing of your wrinkles and more a rejuvenated, volume restored appearance.
Fillers can last between 4 months and 1-2 years, depending on the product selected, the area treated and each patient’s response. The duration varies from patient to patient due to each person’s unique metabolism of product.
Dr. DiGiorgio is a board-certified dermatologist and Harvard Fellowship trained in cosmetic dermatology. All treatments are performed exclusively by Dr. DiGiorgio. You will never see a non-physician or mid-level provider for your consultation or for your treatment. Dr. DiGiorgio is an expert injector with years of experience. She has treated thousands of patients with dermal fillers. Her goals of treatment are to achieve a natural appearance – you will never look fake or overdone. Filler treatments are an elective cosmetic procedure and, therefore, the treatments are not covered by health insurance or FSA.
A consultation with Dr. DiGiorgio is necessary as treatments are customized and personalized to address your needs and meet your personal aesthetic goals. Filler treatments can sometimes be performed the same day as your consultation.

This filler is composed of poly-L-lactic acid and is naturally degraded by your body over time leaving behind new collagen.

A biostimulatory filler that provides immediate volumization and stimulates the body’s production of collagen over time. This filler is composed of a natural compound called calcium hydroxyapatite which is naturally degraded by your body over time and replaced by your body’s own new collagen.
