  • Sofwave™ is a revolutionary, FDA-cleared, non-invasive skin tightening procedure using SUPERB™ (Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam Technology) to lift and tighten the skin. Ultrasound energy delivers acoustic waves precisely to the mid-dermis which generates heat and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin resulting in a more lifted and firmer appearance. Treatments also result in improvement of textural issues such as fine lines and crepiness. The ultrasound energy is delivered specifically to the mid-dermis, and there is no damage to the top layer of the skin or to the deeper layer of fat. What to expect?

Before the treatment, your skin will be numbed with a topical anesthetic ointment. The treatment itself takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. When the ultrasound energy is being delivered to the skin, you will feel a mild, warm sensation. The procedure is well tolerated and most patients find the procedure to be comfortable.

After the treatment, there is no discomfort and no downtime - you will look and feel like yourself. You can immediately return to your regular activities, resume your normal skin care routine, and apply make-up.

All treatments are performed exclusively by Dr. DiGiorgio. Sofwave™ treatments are an elective cosmetic procedure and, therefore, the treatment is not covered by health insurance or FSA.
